The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Kabuga Branch, has donated a high-speed, heavy-duty office binding machine to the National Headquarters Secretariat of the Society, in a gesture aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and supporting the smooth delivery of the Secretariat’s operations.
The Chairman of the NSE Kabuga Branch, Engr. Dr. Gambo Haruna Yinusa, MNSE, presented the equipment on behalf of the Branch Executive Committee and the entire members to the President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr. Ali Alimasuya Rabiu, FNSE, F.ASCE, FAEng, MFR, at the National Engineering Centre (NEC) Headquarters, Abuja, on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Speaking during the presentation, Engr. Yinusa said the Branch considered the provision of the equipment a practical contribution towards enhancing the efficiency of administrative operations at the National Secretariat. He expressed confidence that the equipment would be put to effective use and contribute meaningfully to the Secretariat’s day-to-day activities.
Receiving the equipment, the NSE President expressed profound appreciation to the Kabuga Branch for the thoughtful gesture, noting that the donation demonstrated the Branch’s commitment to supporting the institutional growth and operational effectiveness of the Society.
Engr. Rabiu commended the Chairman, the Branch Executive Committee and the entire members for their initiative and generosity and requested the Chairman to convey his appreciation to all members of the Branch.
The President thereafter formally handed over the equipment to the Executive Secretary, Engr. Ibrahim Aliyu Dutsinma, FNSE, with a charge to ensure its proper handling, maintenance and effective utilisation.
